Registration information


Kindly first read the instructions and conditions given below. Reservations will be handled on a “first come – first served” basis. Each form is to be filled in individually by only one participant.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Many conferences are currently being targeted by scams. Please note that Confedent International is the only official congress office for ECFG-18. Official organizers are the only ones sending e-mails to speakers and participants of ECFG-18.

Registration fees

The registration fee includes lunches (Mon-Wed), coffee/tea breaks (Mon-Wed), and Helsinki City Reception (separate registration later is still required even it is included in the fee).

Pre-symposium workshops on Sat-Su and Conference Dinner on Wednesday, 10th March will have separate fees.

** Registration fee of an accompanying person includes a Helsinki City Reception and Conference Dinner only (no lunches/coffee breaks or attending to programme).

Social Programme


Conference dinner has a separate fee of 150 EUR for the delegates. Ticket for the dinner can be purchased while registering or by email after the registration (subject to availability).


Get-Together: Helsinki City Reception is inclusive to all attendees. However, pre-registration directly to the city of Helsinki is required (link to pre-registration will be sent closer to the conference).

Accompanying person registration includes ticket to Dinner automatically, and separate registration to Helsinki City Reception is still needed.

If you wish to add or remove tickets to accompanying person registration, please email us ecfg18@confedent.fi after completing the initial registration.

Payment of registration fees

Online payment:

  • The following payment methods are accepted: Credit cards Visa and Mastercard (no prepaid cards) and Google Pay.
  • Connection is secure between the registration system and the payment service provider during the online payments.
  • Registration and other reservations will be confirmed only once a full payment has been received.
  • Invoice/receipt will be provided after the payment.


Bank transfer (invoice payment):

  • Invoicing fee EUR 19 will be added to all invoices sent.
  • Note that an additional fee of EUR 19 will be charged for any changes made to a sent invoice (e.g. invalid invoicing address or additional data not given during registration).
  • The invoice reference number must show as identification on bank transactions.
  • The invoice will include all necessary international bank information for the bank transfer.
  • All bank charges should be covered by the payer.
  • Registration and other reservations will be confirmed only once a full payment has been received.
  • Receipt will be provided after the payment.


Cancellation policy and insurance

  • For cancellations made by or on 31 December 2026, full refund (EUR 50 handling fee will be deducted).
  • For cancellations made after 31 December 2026, no refunds will be made.


All requests for cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to the conference participant services ecfg18@confedent.fi.


100% payment to be made if fees not paid at the time of cancellation. No-show is not considered a cancellation. Denial of a visa application to Finland does not entitle a participant to any refunds.


The conference organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, for loss of, or damage to property belonging to participants (or their accompanying persons), either during or as a result of the Conference. The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind so please check the validity and coverage of your own travel insurance.


The organizers do not take responsibility for force majeure reasons for cancellation of the event (natural disaster, outbreak of severe contagious epidemic, major strikes etc.). In such a case, the organizing committee reserves the right to decide about refunding of paid registration fees.
